Does anyone know where the descriptions of the relief roles (long, middle, etc.) is posted? I got into a launch team and thought I had a competitive team: mid-level pitching to go with Sosa, Delgado, Kent, Floyd, Nixon, Guzman, Daubach, Segui....most of my lineup is hitting in the low .200's (oh,except Josh Paul, who's kicking butt).
Anyhow, I've decided to bag the competitive aspect of the season and use this as a learning experience. So, I've started playing the home games w/ the Robot to see how it handles my team. Game 1, w/ a lefty on the mound, I took a 9-2 lead into the 6th. The other team score 2 in the 6th, started a rally in the 7th, and with the bases loaded, the robot pulled my starter and put my long reliever in, Kip Wells, who's basically a mop-up guy. Point is, I had 3/4 middle/short relievers who are quality guys that you'd want in there with the game on the line. Wells got toasted and the other team took the lead.
So, going back to my original question, in light of this (and future observations), I want to go back and review pitcher roles. Any idea where this is found?
