In regard to more info available, I'll agree there is more out there (stats, web sites, magazines) then there were say 10 years ago. But this draft is MUCH better than the last few years. Of course, always be careful of lists that say "Best 100 Rookies." That does not mean the same as 100 good rookies...it is just a random number and is filled with 100 players with probably a very wide difference in talent and ability between number 1 and 100.

In regard to comparing FA to Rookie draft for trade purposes, that is hard to say. Lots of variables with just a few being: quality of Rookie draft; quality of FA draft; the positions in both drafts; needs of your team; etc. It's all a balancing act and every manager is going to come up with different procedures. It is fun to gamble and win but pretty sad when you roll the dice and crap out. Have Fun!
