Perception stuff
Believe me, I was doing backflips getting Suzuki at 5. I was just trying to offer some explanation for why Dun and Beckett were chosen ahead of him in more than a few leagues.
We can look at Dunn and find "holes" too: not real fast, not an accomplished OF (yet), doesn't make real good contact (even though he showed decent discipline).
Perhaps the answer lies in our fascination with "power". Home run hitters and strikeout pitchers, even in PB, get credit for being worth more than they really are.
