In my opinion, I think you'd be pretty much stealing ARod and Vidro. Now, I'm not in your league so who really cares what I think but you should have to give up more to get those two, especially ARod, the best player in the game with years more left in him.

Stats wise, it would be relatively even for THIS year but other that Ortiz, I see a downward trek for the rest of the guys you are giving up while ARod, Vidro, and Ponson will continue on as they are or possibly get even better. Ponson will particularly be better this coming season.

This is not meant to offend the owner of the Southside Superbas, but you need to shop around super studs like ARod before you agree to deals like this.

I sympathize, however, with an owner who has been told by the commish that he needs to offer more (it's happened to me too) because most of us don't try to fleece anyone and when you think it's already fair, you feel insulted. But this is good, ask around and see what people think and then make another offer.
