I've asked this question before but the robot did it to me again. I've set my rotation to try and get maximum mileage out of good starters (Schilling, Buehrle, and Maddux)and go with a thinner bullpen counting on a lot of innings out of the starters. I designate them as "Ace Rotation" and put bullpen usage on most conservative when they pitch. In this last series, the robot decided that 2.2 innings (14 BFAs) was a full day's work for Greg Maddux and yanked him! What else can I do to get the robot to understand my desire to have those designated as "Ace Rotation" go deeper in games, not shorter? There has got to be some way to get the robot to follow the manager's strategy.
