LACK of customer service
PB has never yet come out of its growing stages.
We are still an association of pioneers---not customers.
As the creator of the game and the concept I appreciate all of your support over the years.
Those of you who do not feel like sticking with the future of competitive baseball gaming on line SHOULD resign.
Those of you who stay on will earn my deepest gratitude and win in the end.
Recent suggestions:
Although allowing managers to run unmanaged teams is a good idea, it will take more programming resources than we can spare at the present time.
Explanation for poor service:
I designed this game back in 1994-6 while running a trucking service between Colorado and the East Coast. I had to buy a truck and refrigerated trailer in November of 2001 and resume my career as a specialized carrier (I ferry fresh lamb to the east coast and return with ethnic and specialty foods--for many regular customers in the Denver metro area).
My committment to PB runs deep but supporting my family is an urgent concern as well.
I have a laptop in the truck but have little time to do anything but drive, pick up and deliver freight and sleep during the 8-9 days every two weeks that I am on the road.
I have plans to turn over at least part of the commish reigns to others very soon but first need to get the basic admin stuff back on track. When we had to change hosting facilities a couple of months ago, the move messed up a lot of our admin functions. We are just now getting back on our feet.
What can YOU do:
Continue to enjoy the game and try to roll with the punches. Telling us something is not done or needs attention is welcome.
Thanks again for the support and offers of help---and the constructive criticism.
