No question this is the best game around and we're happy it is around. It would be great if Purebaseball grew to a point it was able to be ran full time by Mike as I am sure Mike would enjoy also(hobby and a job:) and it just might some day. But for now guess we have to be patient and appreciate a very detailed interesting challenging baseball game while expecting some details.
of some of the people I tried to recruit or have...this is the feedback I generally got about purebaseball. It scares them off at first glance...seems too complicated or time consuming. Most who give it a try enjoy it but tend not to give it enough time/pay their due to really learn the game so they can be succesful. Bottomline they start to lose and get frusterated.
A thought....most of my friends love to play in Roto leagues on Yahoo. If PB offered some very low cost Roto leagues to get people in the door some of them might pick up team(S)and get more involved. Dunno a chat room...singles baseball chat room or Bob's Grill chat room LOL. I believe its a great product but to get people in the door to find out by offering them some simpler diversified baseball interest at a low cost along with the traditional PB game.
