You're right, there's no reason to guarantee there won't be any work stoppage. I was just trying to say that the recent news (ie. the setting of a strike date) does not make a strike more likely.

It's definitely a great topic, but is it a topic for this board? I say why not, but I would suggest a new thread for it. I'm sure it would be a long one!

As for the impact of a strike on PB, I would say we would have to prorate the stats (as opposed to shortening our season). The purist in me says no, but who wants to pay for a game we can't play?
Any other ideas on how to handle it?

I'm sure Mike will have something to say about this when it becomes more of a possibility, but in my opinion, that time is not now. Right now, I'm just kickin' back, and enjoying the good things (4-homer games, no-hitters, my Blue Jays...well, 2 two out of three ain't bad)...
