I had this exact issue in 2000RT2. The 5th game was pending for several days and I ended up losing as visitor thought he PB rules said that the 5th game would not be reset. I e-mailed Mike/Dwight and the other owner had a crash problem and, barring some reason to doubt him, they reset the game. It is also very possible he finished the game and then had a problem reporting it for a couple of days. See the message below on Server Problem from Hite.
