What Craig isn't considering that when the sandwiches are sold in New York or anywhere else (at exhorbitant prices) you don't get the entire sandwich. You just get the bread & mayo. Only when those poor slobs from Florida (or Montreal, or Kansas City or Minnesota) show up do they bring the meat, lettuce & rest of the fixin's. The spoiled yankees, and their fans, have never caught on to the fact that it takes 2 to tango. Not to many people would show up to watch them play with themselves (no pun intended).
Even back in the 30's the yankees assembled a lot of their great teams by buying players from teams thatwere about to go out of business. That's all they are doing now. Nothing has changed.
