May I post a rant? Here? Please, I'll feel better. If you don't want to read a rant, skip this post.

I had a trade offer Thursday morning. It involved my sending one of my starters for a Rookie 1 and FA 1 and I accepted it, thinking it wouldn't be approved until next week. WRONG!

It was approved at 11:37 on a Thursday! So How the H---- am I supposed to know that and cover my rotation in time for this week's games?
Soooooo, I run a player short, but worse, a starter short for this series. At least it's at home and at least I was going to have to bring up an Inn. pitcher, so I probably didn't lose much.

Only thing that's realling torquing me off is that if I had WANTED it to become effective this week, it would have missed approval.

I know....I could have indicated a later effective date in the trade offer. Next time I'll use that option, which I always ignore.

Think I'll go kick something!
