Dealing with Imbalance

Posted By T Hart

I am not in any 20 team leagues, so I don't know how well-founde your fears are. I'm not sure what takes place in the 20 team league you're in, takes place everywhere.

However, assuming you're right, a bumper could be created against any further imbalance throught some manipulation of the impending FA draft:in Major league baseball they have a salary cap, in PB there could be a PB cap. That is; teams with PB sub-(You enter the PB # here) draft until they reach an amount that brings them within the norm (The worst teams first, etc..) with the rest of the league re-entering after all the 'bad' temas had a chance to pull even. I realize, even asd I type this flaws exist and I hope some of you take the time to point them out, but any result would be an improvement over the present situation.

In the 2 other RT leagues I'm in (One with 1 dead team, one with 2) there have been an average of 36 trades since January of this year. in the one I put up for contraction: 11. While trading activity can't be used as the only barometer for the health of the league, it cannot be ignored as some indicator.
