Wow... not sure I like that...
I've just spent three agonizing years rebuilding a team I took over. I'e lost probably on average 110 games a year. I am now starting to see the fruits of my drafting and trading and have put together a team with some real promising young talent (Hunter, Suzuki, Vernon Wells, Phelps, Ward, Koch). I'd hate to suddenly see all my blood sweat and tears blown away in this type of deal.
Sure, I may end up with a better team and a team that has a better chance to win - but I don't want that. I want the team I built, the team I've struggled with. I want the challenge to make them contenders.
Maybe leagues that are manager poor should just be shutdown and the managers moved to other leagues to fill holes? I'm not sure what to do because I know I would hate to lose my team.
