While it's not a good situation to have unmanaged teams, reducing the number of teams from 24 to 20 is a worse situation. That throws another 140 players into the player pool, thereby eliminating the usefulness of a lot of part-time players and reducing the realistic level of the league. I would much rather see a system set up that would allow trades with unmanaged teams.
