Contracting Leagues
I aggree that contracting leagues prolly won't happen, however, let's be real. The reason it won't happen is because he doesn't want to lose revenue, not because it's the right thing to do . . . Saying that it just as easy to have parity in a 20 team league as a 24 team league is a "knee-jerk" kinda argument that doesn't hold water. 24 Team Leagues are much more difficult to manage and scount and draft for. Let's put the cards on the table and if you don't want to lose money say it, but don't insult me by saying 20 team leagues are just as competetive as 24 team leagues.
There's a reason why the Twins and the Angels are making the ALCS, it's parity and the more teams you have the more the talent is spread around, hence the more difficult (i.e. challenging) it is to manage.
