(this was also posted below in response to a comment about contraction and the discussion about dropping teams or leagues---I thought it shoudl appear here as well in case many of you are no longer reading the discussion threads below)

If this were about money we would not be talking about it because this web site would be DEAD---turned OFF---GONE!

I am not insulting anyone.
Please do not insult me with the old ---all He (they?) care about is money stuff.
There is no money in PB and there may never be any money in it.
What there is is love for the game and the leagues and the TEAMS!
Every league no matter how sick has at least one team and surely more, that are someone's artwork. And they do not want it closed down.
It is as simple as that.
The managers who love their teams would rather --on balance ---keep their team in a 20-team format than hold out for a 24 team format and lose them.
