Seems somewhat of a debate revolving around either contraction N draft vs just re-draft. Most owners who have posted are clearly for keeping 24 leagues intact but for a re-draft so hurting teams can balance out their roster. other option is to just drop 4 teams go to a 20 team league and distribute talent around? Leagues in question would clearly have to be these: leading the way CHAMP league 9 vacancy, TD 99-1 vac 9, TD 98-2 vac 7, RT 99-4 Vac 6 and F18 Vac 6. F18 unowned teams all except one looks pretty solid and I even have my eye on Jack City Haulers in F18 league.
I am all for keeping 24 team leagues intact and would rather look for a way to re-draft to help the unowned teams to not only get a more balanced roster but more desirable to eventually be picked up by a owner.
To add some input, I own three teams and been shopping around to pick up a forth but I ownly play in 24 team leagues....reason of all espects of game it involves more strategy: utilizing bullpen, platooning and more importantly your forced to PINCH/hit, run Defense etc. thus the less 24 teams leagues there are excludes some owners who prefer larger leagues for reasons stated. Whatever the Commish decides to do I'll support but wanted to give some positive input that there are quite a few of us who will only play in a 24 team league .
Last thought, could do all 24 team traditional leagues as they do Real time leagues....have a month FA draft?
