4. Reallocation Draft: This draft is used to redistribute talent when there is need to even out the talent among vacant teams. Any managed team can participate in an announced Reallocation Draft by throwing their roster into the draft pool. The draft lasts 12 days with one pick being made the first day, four the last day, and 3 picks on all the other days of the draft. The Draft is run after the play-offs and before the Rookie draft. Teams joining this draft keep their rookie and free agent picks, but surrender all of their players. When all players in the draft are taken, the draft is over. Trading remains in force during this draft. The order is random and draft picks are inverse order every round

Example in 98t2 .. last count was 7 teams unmanaged so all players 245 (7 x 35) go into the fish pond and at least 3 teams draft to make 20 teams....... however if an owner in 98t2 looks at his team... as rules state above and says I want to fish... then he can throw in his 35 players into the draft pool and picks a new squad.... and as far as determining which 3 teams.... use the assigned number for each org/team (as Casey Stengel says you can look it up... when you clink on a team it gives you its number up in the browser address) so those teams who are the lowest.... meaning anywhere up to #20 remain... as that team originally joined in the top 20.... but what it does is eliminate "polly ticks" ... and keeps it simple.... remember the objective is to get each league solid with 20 owners... and add a few bucks to the till...(sorry I am old bean counter and "revenue" is still my middle name) then in 2 or 3 years..... those 20 teams cut back to 21 or 23 players (everybody votes the number)for the expansion leagues year only and add 4 owners and use the reallocation draft again... then it helps Mick and the other dreamers that want 24 team leagues that option also. Stop this mental masturbation and keep it simple and remember the objective..... to cut the branches and make the tree strong again. Also take it easy Jon in STL...
