Mike.... I missed the point? why doesn't it work? Especially when it states "to balance unmanaged teams" ...... well throwing everybody in from 7 teams to make at least 3 as in 98t2 example would make 3 good teams.... I thinks its ridiculous to have teams that don't throw in their teams and redraft in reallocation draft...... be able to participate in drafting those type A & B players "contracted" in the FA draft....talk about making the rich richer.......the type D & E players is who should be in the FA draft... you still will have a competitive imbalance....the unmanaged teams stink (or PB does.......which is it?) since alot of them have been vacant for a very long time...so again Mr.Businessman are you trying to get 20 solid teams (buyers/active owners) or kiss the butt of some of these legends in their own mind? they will want to create ideas that will be all over the map...that will benefit their team....not the overall goal of getting 20 active owners and making each league as strong as possible....(I know thats dreaming but...) maybe we are in NJ..... and forget the rules!!!

I don't see the difference between contracted teams or unmanaged teams....nobody owns them/nobody wants them.....it makes it easier to determine the teams to "contract".... hell Bud would be happy to have the answers in front of him!! if you don't use the reallocation draft you will still have 3 teams that aren't as competitive as they could be.....thus still not as attractive to own ....what would then be the point to contract? We might as well have a designed owner(s) (read:does not own any PB teams) and just manages unmanaged teams......and forget this nonsense.
Sorry for being so full of piss & vinegar ...... but I hated the 98t2 season with 7 unmanaged teams..... I want the competition and I want owners that will answer emails or reject or adjust trades offers... at least respond...its a joke....I should just clam up...and let the ideas flow that will make my strong teams stronger... but I don't want that.... the big picture is to have strong leagues.... otherwise the vacant teams will be back again.... deja vu all over again... just ask Yogi
