I think Eddie's view of the issue is balanced.
I believe the practice will become less appealing as the games become more "public".
This will happen when we get our "matchup page" up and working. The page will enable us to do everything involved with playing a game from one page---checking the opposing team as well recaping the game for the league page and messaging the opposing manager.
The closer-knit the environment gets, the more questions of etiquette will come into play.
Legislating behavior is a difficult and trecherous process, although PB is open to suggestions on how to create tangible incentives for playing to win.
