Just because it is a "TRAD" SIM doesn't mean you can never change anything with it. That doesn't seem like a strong argument against monthly FA drafts. You are even talking about PB caps, re-allocation drafts, lots of stuff. Even staid old MLB changes.

As to ruining the spring FA draft, it would definitely take some players from it, but plenty would be left after the roster cuts. Deepen the roster cuts to 25 if you want to add even more meaning.

The loss in value of the spring FA would be more than made up by the added interest during the season and by the opportunity for the weaker teams to pick up more talent. The monthly draft may be of less use to strong teams but weak teams can pick up starters and prospects.

Still...I'm just throwing it out for discussion. It would tempt me to join a TRAD league and is the main reason I'm sticking with RT leagues...but I can change...
