The game demo still works (from the main PB webpage). You get to play a complete 5 game home series with All Star type of teams.

The only problem is that it hasn't been updated with new rosters or stats, and the players listed are from a couple of years ago.

No, it's not a 50 game season with a draft and playoffs, but it's an easy way to introduce someone to the actual "game".
