Concentrate the effort where big names are involved and either an experienced mgr is trading with a newbie or a strong team is trading with a weak(er) team AND name players or high rookie picks are involved.

Also look for a weak team trading young guys for old guys or rookie picks for old guys. Those are suspicious trades IMHOP. A weak team trading with a stong team giving a young guy for Randy Johnson or Barry Bonds is one thing, but Furcal for Alicea would be something else (last one was approved).

To add to that though, even trades between 2 strong teams need to be looked at when a trade can affect a race as friends may tend to help each other a little more than is proper.
