You know, placing waivers into the game would be great. It would REALLY balance things because it would stop some of the silliness that occurs in the game.

One of the things I really dislike currently about PB is the platooning madness. People will draft teams with average hitters who pound on one side of the plate. They will then see what team they face next and then bring up all their hard hitting lefties or righties depending. This just isn't major league baseball. If waivers existed, then teams wouldn't be able to just send down a pro player who is weak on one side just to bring up someone else who is stronger (the same hold true for pitching). It could actually improve trading as people try to fill holes as opposed to resting on platoons.

Would be difficult to implement I think - but a lot of fun!
