This is a very little used rating and comes into play mostly on tag plays.
The effect a catcher has on calling the game is actually built into pitching stats and is very hard to quantify and no REAL SIM does as far as I know---STATS inc can not help because in very few cases is enough data available--even on teams where two catchers work a lot they often are used for different starting pitchers and it is not reliable data.

I have recently revamped all the SUBJ ratings and LoDuca got a well deserved boost.
