Anyone have this happen to you? I'm not going to name names, but I proposed a deal for Andy Benes at the beginning of September. The deal was never responded to or commented on. I did not withdraw the trade. Frankly, with all the teams I have, and other activities I forgot about it. Today I read that Benes is done because of a bad knee. Guess what, the deal gets approved by the owner today. There's no telling if Mike would have approved it. I definitely don't want to do the deal. It was a 1st and 2nd round FA for 7th and 8th rounds. Some owners might not have even caught the news about Benes, and could have had the deal put through. I know that's what this guy counted on. I just think it's so low class to do that, especially after the deal sat for close to 3 months. Just wanted to vent. I'm still shaking my head over it.
