Yeah But...
Well, I will agree that the accepting owner acted only in his best interest and it its not a nice thing to do but...the deal was left out on the table so you can't gripe too much that its a bad deal. There have been several posts about leaving hanging deals and following up. Somewhere along the line you need to realize that you made the mistake...only takes getting burned one time to learn a lesson the hard way. A more gracious owner probably would have contacted you first before accepting an old offer. In a way it is a small reflection on our American society in general and how we have lost our sense of sportsmanship and fair play in exchange for an attitude of having to win at all costs, never mind the body count as long as I come in first. It is sad but true, just don't fall into the trap of playing by their rules...walk away with your head up.
