There have been worse trades when viewed in retrospect, but I'd have to agree that this one is at least arguably the worst when viewed at the time of the trade. Some of the others proved out to be bad by the end of the season but at the time of the trade didn't seem so bad...e.g. Lou Brock for Ernie Broglio.
