Don't be so sure
e are, after all talking about the Braves; the team that (aside from the Yankees, and with a much lower budget) has been the singularly best run franchise perhaps in all of sport. I am reminded of the Celtics making an offer to the then restricted FA Marvin 'the Eraser' Webster. He was threatening to leave the Knicks anfd the Celtics made him an offer. An offer subsequently the Knicks matched and thereby re-signed Webster. This put the Knicks over the cap and the Celtics could retain there own FA Kevin McHale.
This latest developement with the Braves, while looking lopsided, makes me think the other shoe is yet to drop. How suprised would you be to find out that Millwood 'developes' a shoulder problem sometime in Spring Training
