K-17

Posted By Dave N

When I entered K-17 in late '98, it was on the premise that there was to be a reallocation draft.
That never happened because not enough teams at the time were willing to put their players in the pool for such a draft. In the meantime, I also entered another league that did have a reallocation draft at the time. In the other league, I've always been competitive. In K-17, the team I inherited was thin and I've made some errors, and have always been the doormat. Part of it is bad management on my part, but a lot of it is trying to build with no margin for error. With so many unmanaged teams, too much talent is locked up.
If, in fact, other owners from contracted leagues could be induced to pick up teams in K-17, then I say, leave it alone. BUT...with five unmanaged teams out of 24, it is really tough to rebuild.
