How are worst teams determined?
The 2 worst teams from both the non-DH and DH leagues are going to be contracted. Most of the leagues up for contraction have more than 2 unmanaged teams in each conference. Because PB values are all very very low on this unmanaged teams, alot of the team PB values are within 2pts or less of each other, and in some cases only fractions of points.
That said, how will the 2 "worst teams" be determined?
-By total PB value? (easy/clean)
-By total PB value relative to the amount of players they have? (more accurate relative to the amount of players on their pre-draft cut roster.) ie. Team A (61.000 value, 35 players) and Team B (61.400 value, 39 players). Which team would get the cut?
-By how likely the non-contracted team would get picked up by a prospective new owner? In other words, contract the teams with the least future potential...making the "worst teams" a completely subjective selection process. (I would think Mike would rather keep around an attractive/young team with a lower PB value...who might get good with a little TLC, rather than throw those players to the wolves just because another team with no future potential had a slightly higher team PB value).
Thoughts? Comments?
I have 4 teams, and all 4 leagues are being contracted...so I'm very very interested to see how this will be determined while trying to plan my own teams' futures.
