After reading the proposed scheme for TEAM PB value computation I have some questions of clarification.

(1) Is it a correct interpretation of the proposal that only the players required to fill the designated innings pitched (IP) and plate appearances (PA) will count against the TEAM PB value?

(2) If the answer to #1 is yes then lets suppose that a team were able to acquire 10 stud starters [Lets say for example -- Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, Greg Maddux, Curt Schilling, Tim Hudson, Barry Zito, Mark Mulder, Matt Morris, Bartolo Colon, and Roy Oswalt.] In this scenario is it correct that only the best 1000 Innings would count against the TEAM PB value? [If the answer to this is yes then this may be a loophole in the scheme].

(3) Will these new TEAM PB values be part of a live database so that the TEAM PB value will be automatically re-computed when players are traded, drafted, or released?

(4) Will the number that teams must be under on roster cut day be published well in advance of the rookie draft?
