In response to Mike's request, here are my thoughts:

1. Keep the draft order based on last year's wins. Then rank in the four groups by PB value. This seems like the most fair method taking 2 different valuations into account.

2. I strongly urge dropping the serpentine method of drafting and maintaining the same order over all rounds. This most benefits those teams who are the weakest, which should be one of the goals of contraction. As an example, the team ranked 20th in the first round then gets the 21st pick as currently proposed (IMO that is too generous for the best team in the league). Drop the serpentine method and they then get pick #20 and pick #40, which is much fairer to the weaker teams. BTW my team would most likely fall in the middle of the draft, so this would not really benefit me.
