Jon makes probably the best case for NOT using the serpentine method in the contraction draft. Even teams with high PB values will get a decent pick in the first two rounds - maybe three.

Therefor, you can tell that I am in favor of using PB value for team rather than 2002 record - heck, why reward managers (the few) who tanked for the better part of the season by essentially abandoning their teams.
