Your right
At the risk of raising the ire of the cheerleading squad, I have to believe you're right. To discredit an individual who catches a higher percentage of balls hit in his zone ( I have to assume that the approximate blue-darters and cans-of-corn are about equal for all) while giving extra credit for a CF who insists on catching a higher percentage of the lazy flys that hangs on the borders between CF LF & RF is absurd ( I am tempted to type moronic, but I'm afraid *ZEKE* would show up at my door wielding a sharp instrument).
No-one to date has demonstrated to my feeble mind how a better fielder catches a LOWER percentage of balls hit in his zone. Do that -just that, and I will become one of the converted. I want to believe. Lord, Lord, I want to believe. Help me Lord. Show me the error of my foolish ways. Make me see how Tori, Gold Glover Tori, is actually one of the bottom quarter center fielders in all of baseball
