I couldn't possibly have understood that correctly, C.D. . Are you saying that you have a problem with trades that appear innoccuous at the time but turn out to be one-sided 1-2 years later ? That we should committ to complaining about trades that might work out better for one team 1-2 years down the road ?
That is absurd. If someone has the talent evaluation skill, foresight and most of all luck to have a player he gets do better than the one he traded away then good for him.
I think people do complain & Mike does police trades that are immediately lopsided but you can't truly believe that we should complain about trades made 1-2 years ago that form the foundation of a winner now. Can you ?
