I see you're point, but there is one very important check in place. *Commissioner Bravard* I think he has a pretty good handle on keeping trades fair and honest. Preventing the type of dumping you're talking about is *almost* impossible. I think all that could be done would be to strip the team from the offending owner, and that might be a severe penalty (for the first offense, anyway).

In most (if not all) leagues, I think owners are sensible enough to not intentionally destroy league balance. Remember, if someone trades a player away for a pick that player is no longer available in the reallocation draft. That owner would need to be certain the player he's giving away would be inferior to the one he'd pick in the FA draft.
