Here is how I value pitchers.
To me the first rating is worth twice the second rating.
So a pitcher that is
6 4.5 = 5.5
((6x2) + (4.5)) / 3 = 5.5
4 7 = 5.0
Just my opinion. Even more important though, is the pitchers OPS vs lefties and righties.
