The big picture
The trade in itself is not bad. In the context of league balance it hurts. the yankees do it all the time and we bitch and moan.Stop taking things so doggone personal for a minute and look at it objectively. the rest of the league is trying to catch the front runner and then only because he can't really build through a poor rookie draft a bad (personnel wise only) team makes a deal that makes him somewhat better but a great (100+ wins is an serious accomplishment) even better disrupts the balance. now if due to increase in pb value the trade stripped cape cod of some fa picks thus making it possible for osceola to improve thru trade and the draft that would be more equable. remember when outsiders look at our leagues htey want to see balance. it adds credibility to our game
