And I am a Giants fan for geographical reasons. My point is that we view the Yankees from two very different prespectives. I am all for the NFL style if the alternative is MLB's style even if Rice has to leave the Niners (though I would argue that Walsh let him go because he thought that Rice was just about finished as a player, obviously not the right call there). In a perfect Utopia, all stars stay with the teams that farmed them, but that doesn't happen in this day and age.

I think we can agree that if it were Boston and not the Yankees winning every year, you would be as excited as I am when new blood gets a shot to win. It makes for more interesting story lines.

Of course, I could be assuming too much.
