One of the teams Tim is referring to was mine, in 99T2. My St. Louis team has won 3 out of 4 Championships. Only in one of those years (1st), I had the best record. The other years, Tim usually had the better team, and the better record. This last year I won as a wild card team. I certainly haven't had the best team in that league, or the most stars, I've just done well with what I originally drafted (formation) and traded for (30 trades). I've only had one year where I had a good Rk1 selection (Pujols), and every year I've drafted near the end of the FA1 draft. Point being, my team success hasn't been impacted by good picks every year, or high PB value players... these suggested changes probably wouldn't have made an impact on me in those 3 championship seasons and isn't a solution.

More importantly, playoff success involves some luck, and just getting yourself into a position to win.
