What I'd like to see is a new Championship league starting up every year with teams going free of charge to world series winners.

If I was to win the world series in 2000RT1 this year *fingers crossed* and someone offered me the chance to take over a cellar dweller in a highly competitive league, I'd say "no thanks". I have very little interest in trying to fix someone else's mistakes while hoping to be competitive in 2-3 years. Especially if, when you still wind up in the bottom 8, you get kicked out of the league anyway. It seems like a whole lot of work for nothing.

If, however, World Series winners were awarded a franchise in a brand new league, starting with the formation draft, I'd jump at the chance. It sounds like that was the original purpose of the CHAMP league, and I wish it had been continued.

I'm not that familiar with the CHAMP and CHALL leagues, but I like the concept. If those leagues are struggling, maybe it's time to start new ones.
