You're right, we should get going soon. Figure we announce the leagues & teams Monday(2/3), the draft order on wednesday and schedule the draft for the next Tuesday(2/11) through Friday (I'm guessing 3-4 rounds). This would have us done by 2/14 and the rookie draft usually scheduled for the first Tuesday in March(3/4). That would allow for a 2+ week trading period between the contraction & rookie drafts.
That would be good as teams are sitting it out now because of the uncertainty and would hopefully jump in to trade after the contraction draft. We've got the time if we get going now but any more delays will hurt.
