I can see the need to prevent trading of contraction draft picks (too much work involved to program) but will we be able to make trades of newly acquired player in the short time between the contraction and rookie drafts?

If so, we could potentially make trades now for players that will be acquired in the contraction drafts (ie. a team with the #1 pick could work out a deal this weekend, then draft with the intention of trading that player after the draft).
