Value

Posted By MBravard

The players I would consider of "no future value" are much older and less touted than any examples you posted---more or less what you would get now when asking the commish for an INN fill-in. My aim is always to protect the value of the FA draft. Although there is a posssibility of a player falling through the cracks occasionally, that odd event would not jeopardize the FA draft pool to any great extent.

As an aside, I did not say Ginter had "no" value, just not enough given his position in a praticular trade you offered and that I questioned. In any case he would not be considered a player with "no" future value. Moreover the fact that this waiver wire was for a TRAD SIM league playing a full year behind would help determine value of players on the wire.

I am not confident, by the way, that the programming required to put such a waiver system into place would make it feasible in the near term.
