Smaller keepers (25 after rookie) and keep total roster the same. This would make the FA draft more interesting with 40 additional players in the draft giving us two additional rounds of depth at the beginning of the draft.

This way both the 1st and 2nd round of the FA draft would have many players to chose from, and the guy choosing 20th doesn't get screwed.

Currently the top 10-15 picks gets you a guy that helps this year with the top 5 picks being the best. By increasing the depth of the FA draft, those picking in the bottom 20 would then get a much better player in the 2nd round, which would equalize out the random order of the draft.
