It really depends on the league and how serious the rebuild is

Posted By Tim A.

In a mythical "typical league" my list would go something like this.

(1) Jones - CF, and finally starting to come into his own
(2) Ramirez - 2nd best bat in the group but several more years left than Bonds
(3) Pujols - 3rd best bat in the group
(4) Bonds - monster
(5) Griffey - I still think he's got something left
(6) Beckett - His ceiling is extremely high, but he's a young pitcher which means risk
(7) Weaver - I see other pitchers in my leagues that I like more than Weaver.

Now.... if you are in a league where it is hard to trade old players for reasonable value and/or your rebuild resembles a complete tear down and start over (i.e. a 2+ year project) then you would have to consider bumping Bonds, Griffey, and possibly Ramirez down the list.

Bonds is a monster. But I think a lot of people would rather have another 8 years (wild guess) of Manny than another maybe 2 or 3 years of Bonds (And Manny is pretty much a monster also).
