Main impact issue would be roster limits. I feel to expand would cause lack of equality, actually to go smaller would help rebuilding teams. My vote stay at 27 its very balanced. I mean if you go larger then 27 knowledgable managers would win while rebuilding thus start to form dynasty teams in most leagues.
2nd most impacting issue Trade wavers...interesting idea and the real impact would simple be luck of the draw as alot of players heat up second half but on the other hand teams would not have excuse for not being able to field a proper team. Lastly this idea is being used in real time leagues so we got a clue how it would effect leagues somewhat.
3rd issue but hardly a impacting one that its being used in post season already- player limits. call it the 50/20 issue "AB/InnPitched" Why I vote to use 50/20 year round is FAIRNESS, those players can only play in a handful of series thus owners can field a unrealistic good team vs certain teams or team they want to beat but they in truth are not playing their real team talent level. I am fine to allow" inn players" to be used year round even if they are below the 50/20 margin. 4th issue: that has not been brought up in a while none catchers playing out of position as CATCHER....to increase offense and apparently not reducing defense as much as they should. Dunno could be hard to police so be nice to build it in to the game somehow...make them unable to stop stealing I.E. if they have no catching defense rating. But if people can do things they will do things and after the game is done what can you do?
5th issue Salary cap I mean PB value cap:)....I vote for none but that is not the question sure go for it 125% but the average team PB value should go up a bit as alot of low PB value teams have been contracted in TD leagues.
last issue Inn players platoon R/L along with pitchers ERA critaria. I vote no change, ya offense has gone up but they should be fielding a better offense too so it all balances out in the end. Thanks Mike for addressing some issues that are important to owners and look forward to other owners imput too. PS one thing that might help motivate league Commissioners to be more active is to post if possible in leagues who is the league Commissioner, even add his email address WINK
