If you want to make sure a team has at least 2 catchers on the active roster ?
There is only one answer to assure that when you
take unmanaged-neglected teams into consideration.
The game program with need to be changed.
To either not allow a game to be started unless
2 rated catchers are on the roster.
Or even possibly set to automatically transfer a catcher from the farm or waiver list if it is after the game start deadline.
This would be a good long term fix imo.
For the short term,how about changing the game
to not allow a non-rated catcher to throw out
any base runners trying to steal 2nd-3rd base
when the basestealer is rated average to high.
Plus increase the Passball ratio.
This would help and not be unrealalistic.
If you want to win you would then make sure you have 2 catchers.
But unmanaged team would need to be watched more closely.
Just my quick thought.
