I disagree
The APBA game is simlistic beyond belief and NO the pitching grades did not "work". Greg Maddux who allowes relatively few HRs and walks and many hits always allowed too few hits and far too many HRs and Walks becuase the pitching grades were and ARE Bogus in APBA.
I played APBA for 30 years and know every "kinky" subplot in this made for "rolling the bones" game.
The only way to portray a pitcher who allows few hits, home runs and walks but still gets a relatively high ERA is to assign him a low clutch rating?
